Mark resides in Portland Oregon where he performs regularly with the top musicians and artists on the Portland scene. Mark can be seen regularly performing with bluesman Lloyd Jones' band, New Orleans saxophonist Devin Phillips, and the Scott Law Reunion Band. He also does many small group jazz gigs at the numerous local jazz venues in the Portland and Seattle areas. When not busy playing, he can be found in his recording studio teaching students, laying down drum tracks, recording bands, or mixing and mastering projects for other artists.
Alongside some of today’s most revered electric bass players, drummer MARK GRIFFITH drives the
outstanding group of players with a forceful and passionate swing and jazz-rock attitude. Jaco
himself would have jumped all over this stuff.
